William Marshall is a Research Associate with Stimson’s Blockchain in Practice program. His research focuses on blockchain technology and its potential to strengthen nonproliferation, specifically for increasing transparency and security of data exchange related to nuclear safeguards, nuclear security, and for monitoring the international trade of dual-use chemicals. He holds an M.A. in International Relations with a concentration in strategic and arms control studies from Saint-Petersburg University (Saint Petersburg, Russia) and B.A. in History from Hood College (Frederick, Maryland).
