The Role of Industry in Responsible International Transfers of Conventional Arms

Enhancing knowledge, facilitating dialogue, and supporting the ATT CSP9 priority theme

The United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR), Conflict Armament Research (CAR), and the Stimson Center have been engaged in a research Consortium since 2019 aimed at increasing knowledge and strengthening shared understanding on the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) to support its effective implementation. In 2023, the Consortium is conducting research and facilitating dialogue events on “The Role of Industry in Responsible International Transfers of Conventional Arms”, in support of the Republic of Korea’s Presidency of the Ninth Conference of States Parties to the ATT. The Consortium wishes to thank the Republic of Korea for their funding in 2023.
