The Stimson Center will relaunch four projects focused on Track 2 and Track 1.5 diplomacy in the coming weeks, building on work previously conducted by the EastWest Institute. The Stimson Center has 30 years of experience with international dialogues, simulations, and senior-level stakeholder engagement.
The EastWest Institute announced today that it will cease operations on January 31.
The new projects will include: US-China and US-Russia military-to-military dialogues, Iran-Saudi Arabia and Iraq regional dialogues, and hydro-diplomacy dialogues in Southern Asia. Some former EastWest Institute staff will join the Stimson Center. Additional details will be released as Stimson relaunches the projects.
