Dr. Georges Fauriol, Senior Associate (Non-resident) at CSIS, fellow with the Caribbean Policy Consortium, and member of the Think Tank Haiti (TTH) Steering Group, will address the current political situation. Dr. Vanda Felbab-Brown, the Director of Brookings’ Initiative on Nonstate Armed Actors and co-director of its Africa Security Initiative, will focus on Haiti’s deteriorating security situation. Wolf Pamphile, Founder and Executive Director of Haiti Policy House, will explore civilian perceptions and aspirations. Keith Mines, former director of USIP’s Latin America Program and long-time State Department and US military officer, will offer some thoughts on international options.
