Strategic analysts need new tools in order to enhance deterrence stability and reduce nuclear dangers on the subcontinent. At the end of this course, students will be able to:
-Describe the motivations behind India and Pakistan’s nuclear programs, doctrines, and postures;
-Analyze the major challenges to nuclear stability in South Asia; and
-Propose innovative confidence-building and nuclear risk reduction measures.
