Yuki Tatsumi quoted in the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette on Japanese military division

For the first time in 70 years, Japan, a pacifist nation, will send its soldiers to fight overseas.


But, as Yuki Tatsumi of the Stimson Center warns, “The division within Japan will remain long after the legislation is enacted, and is likely to come back to haunt the Japanese government when it finds itself in the position of having to utilize the new laws.”
