The Carnegie Corporation recognizes MAB’s Beyond Boundaries work in Results report

The Carnegie Corporation of New York has selected
the Managing Across Boundaries (MAB) Initiative’s work under Beyond Boundaries project to be featured in the Carnegie Results report. The report
highlights the successes of foundation-funded nonprofit organizations as well as projects that have
produced reports, results or knowledge of particular importance.

The project’s innovation lies in the dual benefit
model of engagement, which aims to identify how countries in the Global South
can better make progress toward national priority human security and
development needs while simultaneously meeting their obligations under
international mandates. Through the work under the Boundaries project, MAB has successfully used nonproliferation mandates as a platform to work with
governments and other stakeholders across six key regions—the Caribbean,
Central America, the Andean region, Eastern Africa, the Middle East, and
Southeast Asia—to pioneer innovative approaches to bridging the security and
development divide.
