Nishitha Viswanathan was a Program Assistant in the South Asia Program. With a proven entrepreneurial track record, she founded Silicon Valley-based AI SaaS startup Versai, leading multiple teams to product launch and successfully filing two patents. In 2012, Nishitha established 501(c)(3) organization, Dhadkan, hosting large-scale concerts with up to 12,000 attendees and prominent South Asian artists to fund education for children in rural India.
Nishitha combines her strategic mindset and dedication to technology-driven process improvement with a passion for affecting global change. She is simultaneously pursuing her M.S. at American University’s School of International Service, studying emerging technology for poverty alleviation in South Asia. Additionally, she has fluency in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
