Michele Lunney

Michele brings 20 years of experience developing and executing competitive business strategies for Fortune 500 companies and aggressive growth in high tech start-up companies. Operating at the nexus of both commercial and public sector industries. Her areas of expertise include: Digital transformation with expertise in blockchain and distributed ledger technology, digital security solutions for highly regulated industries including nuclear energy and chemical manufacturing.

Michele regularly advises governments, Fortune 500 companies, nuclear sector organizations and regulators on digital security risks across many existing processes including nuclear material safeguards, nuclear global supply chains, and biometric digital identity security solutions. She comes to the Stimson Center with expertise advising clients on the value of digital blockchain technology, operational and financial aspects of blockchain programs including strategy, governance, frameworks, controls, processes, and operating models. She was educated at Dalhousie University with her Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and is a Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt.
