Logan Pauley is a Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellow with the East Asia program at Stimson. His research focuses on U.S.-China relations particularly in regard to Syria, conflict, global governance, international organizations, and responsibility. His writing and commentary has been published by the United States Institute of Peace, Syria Direct, The Hill, South China Morning Post, World Politics Review, Nikkei Asian Review, Asia Times, Xinhua, The National Interest, The Diplomat, and more. He holds a M.A. with distinction from the Johns Hopkins University-Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies where he wrote a graduate thesis in Mandarin Chinese and a B.A. Phi Beta Kappa from Centre College. He is a CSIS Pacific Forum Young Leader and he was recently named one of Yale China Hands Magazine’s “5 Under 25: Leaders in U.S.-China Relations”.
