Kim Anderson is a former Nonresident Fellow with the Blockchain in Practice Program at Stimson. She is the President and Founder of inQ LLC. As president, Kim oversees the strategic direction of the company, as well as all client engagements. Kim had a 30-year career leading business strategy and financial management in the multi-national telecommunications industry.

Prior to creating inQ, Kim was Vice President of Finance for XO Communications where she spent 14 years. There, she played an integral role in building XO from a $600M to a multi-billion-dollar enterprise, priming the company to be acquired by Verizon in 2016. She was responsible for XO’s overall budget and revenue management including treasury functions, plus continual monitoring of developments in the financial industry.

A few key accomplishments in the financial operations role include a company-wide profitability by route for voice and data services;  translating millions of billable transactions into product codes, built executive dashboards and KPIs for business units; led three major projects; 3-way matching feature in A/P, 360 degree customer portal, and order to cash tracking dashboard.

Aside from inQ, Kim is currently a managing partner in SubDulles LLC, a multi-million-dollar operation within Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) jurisdiction.

With blockchain, Kim recognized its potential as a game-changing technology for business and government, due to its combination of next-level security with speed in transaction. With her background of corporate strategy and finance, creating inQ Services was a natural combination of her strengths to succeed in a new market.
