Eric Rasmussen

Dr. Eric Rasmussen is the CEO of Infinitum Humanitarian Systems, an international consulting firm focused on the Calakmul International Bioreserve in the Yucatan, and on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. An Internal Medicine physician with an additional Master’s in Disaster Medicine, Dr. Rasmussen spent 25 years on active duty with the US Navy, including seven years on nuclear submarines, nine years at DARPA, and multiple wartime deployments to Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. He was later selected to be founding CEO for Dr. Larry Brilliant’s TED Prize and remains the Chair of that Board. He’s currently the Research Director for the Kwajalein Atoll Sustainability Laboratory on Ebeye Island, an international effort led by the Marshallese and sponsored by the US Office of Naval Research, exploring climate impact mitigation strategies for atoll nations.
