Aubrey Polliard serves as Deputy Chief of Staff at the Stimson Center, where she works closely with the President & CEO and senior leadership to advance institutional priorities, strengthen cross-organizational coordination, and support strategic initiatives across the Center. In her role, she supports leadership operations, Board engagement, and organizational planning efforts. Prior to assuming her current role, Aubrey served as Executive Assistant to the President & CEO, where she became a trusted advisor and operational partner within the Executive Office.
Before joining Stimson, she worked as a ghostwriter across a wide range of non-fiction subject areas, including business, science, and personal development, and brings a strong background in strategic writing, communications, and visual storytelling to her work. Her professional and academic experiences have taken her throughout South America, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and Ecuador, where she worked, volunteered, and studied on issues related to international security, democracy, and resistance movements.
Aubrey earned her B.A. in International Relations and Sociology from the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies, where she focused on international security and human rights.
