Fiona Mangan

Fiona Mangan is a Field Analyst
with the Future of Peace Operations Program at the Stimson Center. Her research
focuses on rule of law components in peace operations. 

Prior to joining the Stimson
Center, she worked for the International Policy Division at the Irish Department
of Justice, coordinating governmental policy positions on a broad range of
justice and home affairs matters for EU and international meetings. She has also
worked with Independent Diplomat in NY, Lawyers Without Borders in Liberia, and
the International Stability Operations Association in Washington, DC. In
addition to rule of law work, Fiona has served as an international election
observer for the Carter Center in South Sudan and for Progressio in Somaliland.
Originally from Ireland, Fiona holds an LL.M. from Columbia University, New
York, an MA in Conflict, Security and Development from King’s College, London,
and a law degree from University College Dublin, Ireland. She is an accredited
mediator and holds a post-graduate diploma in project management.
