Roudabeh Kishi of the Bridging Divides Initiative joined the November 2023 APSG meeting to share insights from her recent issue brief, “Social Media Mis-/Disinformation and the Risk of Atrocities in the United States,” which explores opportunities to enhance atrocity prevention and early warning through improved tracking and understanding of online false narratives. Kishi was joined by Cathy Buerger of the Dangerous Speech Project and Rachel Brown of Over Zero, who provided expert commentary on the issue brief and discussed its implications.
