Brigitta Schuchert is a Research Associate with the South Asia Program at the Stimson Center, as well as the Managing Editor for South Asian Voices, an online publication featuring strategic analysis on South Asia. Her research interests include China-South Asia relations, nationalism, and sub-state violence. Prior to joining Stimson she spent three years as a Writing Fellow at New York University Abu Dhabi and New York University Shanghai. She graduated with a Masters in Security Studies from Georgetown School of Foreign Service. While at Georgetown she spent a summer with the International Chinese Language Program in Taipei and the State Department’s Critical Language Program in Dalian, China studying Mandarin. She holds a BA in Religious Studies from Bryn Mawr College.
