Prior to starting his Senior Developmental Education Fellowship at the Stimson Center in Washington DC, Lieutenant Colonel Steven Bauman was assigned as Senior Executive Officer to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection. His experience spans a wide variety of force protection functions and duties at national, theater, and unit levels.
Lt Col Bauman was commissioned in May 1998 from the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps and received a commission following his graduation from Norwich University. He has served as a policy writer, squadron commander, operations director, and convoy commander for sensitive resources.
