Stephanie Porter

Stephanie Porter serves as the director of human resources for
Stimson. In this role, she manages the entire human resource function at
the Center.

Porter has more than 11 years of varied human resources experience
working with non-profits, public, and private sectors. Before joining
Stimson in 2009, Porter was a senior human resources manager for
Erickson Living. While at Erickson, Porter provided support to more than
400 employees, including the CIO and CFO. Porter also developed the
strategic human resource plan for the information technology department,
and launched several instrumental projects including first-time
supervising training and employee self-service. Before her work with
Erickson, she served as a human resource generalist for Honeywell
International, and worked on several key projects including the
acquisitions team. While part of the acquisitions team, Porter assisted
with employee engagement by traveling around the country to meet with
newly acquired employees. Porter also worked on the team to development a
Six Sigma process for company acquisitions.

Porter holds a BS in business from Xavier University in Cincinnati,
Ohio, an MS in human resources development and training from Amberton
University in Dallas, Texas, and a professional in human resource
certification since 2005.
