Stimson Center Adds Distinguished Leaders to Board of Directors

Washington, DC —  The Stimson Center today announced the appointment of four new members of its Board of Directors: Carlos Del Toro, Susan Chodakewitz, Michelle Howard, and Richard Morrissey. As Board Members they will help guide the strategic direction of the Stimson Center and contribute their own expertise to Stimson’s global research agenda.

Carlos Del Toro, is the founder, president and chief executive officer of SBG Technology Solutions, with experience in diplomacy, military operations, space systems engineering, information technology, and legislative affairs. Full bio.

Susan Chodakewitz, is President and CEO of Nathan Associates, Inc and has a proven track record of turning around, building, and growing businesses. Full bio.

Richard C. Morrissey is Of Counsel in the Washington DC office of Sullivan & Cromwell, LLP and the former managing partner of the London office. He has extensive experience in cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Full bio.

Michelle J. Howard is a United States Navy Retired Admiral having served 35 years. Her last command was in 2016 to 2017 as U.S. Naval Forces Europe and U.S. Forces Africa. She simultaneously led NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command Naples with oversight of missions from the Western Balkans to Iraq. Full bio.
