Jennifer L. Turner
Jennifer Turner is a nonresident fellow at Stimson Center with the Environmental Security Program where she is exploring the environmental, economic, and social impact of Chinese critical mineral and clean energy investments in Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. She brings deep experience from 25 years leading the China Environment Forum at the Wilson Center where she led research and created multimedia storytelling projects covering water-energy nexus confrontations in the US and China, the climate footprint of food, and the plastic waste crisis in China and Southeast Asia. She also coproduced an educational video game called The Plastic Pipeline.
She received her PH.D. in environmental policy and comparative politics at Indiana University in 1997.
