Joshua T White quoted in the Diplomat on US-India defense ties

As U.S. President Barack Obama prepares for his visit to New Delhi next week to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, defense officials from both sides have been rushing to finalize the components of what could amount to a much-needed boost in this dimension of the U.S.-India relationship.

While officials may not publicly admit it, 2015 is a “make or break year” for DTTI, Joshua White, deputy director of the South Asia program at the Stimson Center and a former senior adviser at the Pentagon, told a forum in Washington, D.C. earlier this week.
