Johan Bergenas speaks at Uppsala University on technology applications for security and development

Managing Across Boundaries Deputy Director Johan Bergenas spoke at Uppsala University’s Association of International Affairs in Sweden. Technology is increasingly being viewed as an antidote to 21st century security threats and development challenges. To this end, governments, civil society, and the private sector have never been better placed to coordinate efforts and use high tech for mutual gain and the benefit of society. Bergenas offered remarks on current and emerging trends on how to capitalize on the role of technology and private corporations in meeting today’s security and development needs.
