In October 2012 Stimson, together with the American Academy of Diplomacy and sponsored by the Cox Foundation, released a study examining the challenges of the world today and the progress in
preparing our foreign policy personnel for those challenges. Entitled “Diplomacy in a Time of
Scarcity,” this report has gained significant momentum and today it was the foundation for a commentary published in The Hill.
