Ambassador Lincoln P. Bloomfield, Jr. sat down with former Deputy Secretary of State Richard L. Armitage on May 4, 2010, for the Stimson Center's inaugural Chairman's Forum. During this hour-long discussion, Bloomfield asked Armitage about a wide range of topics chiefly focused on the future role of the United States on the international stage. Armitage and Bloomfield also discussed impediments to a more effective approach to national security, as well as regional issues.
