Dr. Thomas F. Frieden, Director, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, spoke at Stimson on October 13th. His speech advanced the power of evidence-based interventions to help achieve global health initiative goals, and maped out steps for countries to build systems and gain abilities to sustain advances for the long-term.
