On October 5, 2012, Managing Across Boundaries Deputy Director Johan Bergenas spoke at a European Union Policy Hub titled "Towards a More Effective Implementation of the EU Security Strategy: What Methods and Strategies to Ensure Impact," promoting MAB's dual benefit model for bridging the security and development divide. The meeting included the Directorate General for External Policies' internal experts and those from the external think tank community.
