Roundtable Discussion on Conflict Resolution, Resource Management and U.S. Engagement

In cooperation with the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Project (IVLP) the Stimson Center hosted a group of twelve leaders in conflict resolution, academics, government, media, and NGO and community leaders to discuss peace and conflict resolution in the Middle East.  The discussion revolved around how water scarcity and water management issues throughout the Middle East, as well as recent events in Tunisia and Egypt, affect regional security and how the U.S. government and the think tank community can work with local people to overcome obstacles.
