The Stimson Center’s South Asia program welcomed Robert L. Grenier for a discussion of his new book, “88 Days to Kandahar: A CIA Diary.” The conversation with Co-Director of Stimson’s South Asia program Joshua T. White focused on Grenier’s tenure from 1999 to 2002 as CIA Station Chief in Islamabad—a time when Pakistan and India approached the brink of war and America entered into war in Afghanistan.
