The Regional Voices: Transnational Challenges project cordially invites you to a conversation with Dr. Abid Suleri on the political conflicts related to natural resource use in Pakistan. He will discuss the relationship between political instability, armed conflict, and the competition for access to natural resources as well as issues related to the sharing of resource royalties. Dr. Suleri’s remarks will highlight conflicts surrounding natural gas royalties in Balochistan and water royalties in the North West Frontier Province (NWFP).
