Visiting the Stimson Center
The Stimson Center is located at 1111 19th Street, NW on the 12th floor. Parking is available in the building, but many visitors find it more convenient to take the Metro to the Farragut North or the Farragut West station when visiting Stimson.
METRO
Red Line:
Take the Red Line to the Farragut North stop. Exit at the Connecticut and L Street exit and walk west two blocks to 19th Street. Turn right on 19th Street. Stimson is located about half way up the block at 1111 19th Street, NW.
Orange/Blue Line:
Take the Red Line to the Farragut West stop. Exit at the 18th and "I" Street exit and walk west one block to 19th Street. Turn right on 19th Street. Stimson is located about a block and a half north at 1111 19th Street, NW.
DRIVING
From points north of DC:
Take I-95 South to I-495 West. From 495, take Exit 33 onto Connecticut Avenue South. Continue south to Dupont Circle. Proceed not quite half way around the circle and turn right onto 19th Street. The Stimson Center will be on your left approximately three and a half blocks down.
From points west of DC:
Take Route 66 East across the Potomac River to Constitution Avenue. Turn left onto 18th Street. Continue north until the intersection of 18th and M Street. Turn left onto M Street, and then left again on the 19th Street. The Stimson Center will be on your left.
From points south of DC:
Take I-395 North across the Potomac River to 14th Street. Continue north to Thomas Circle at M Street. Proceed counterclockwise 3/4 of the way around the circle and exit right on M Street. After about five blocks, turn left on 19th Street. The Stimson Center will be on your left.
