William Durch speaks at USIP on overcoming obstacles for peace

Bill Durch spoke at a joint USIP and RAND Corporation event Overcoming Obstacles for Peace on March 18th. The event launched a new RAND book, Overcoming Obstacles to Peace, which finds evidence that international interventions can in fact build more peaceful nations.
Other speakers included James Dobbins (Director of the International Security and Defense Policy Center, RAND), Laurel Miller (Senior Political Scientist and Professor, RAND), Dr. Joe Collins (Professor, NDU), and Paul Hughes (Senior Adviser for International Security and Peacebuilding, USIP).
