Alan D. Romberg discusses Japan’s territorial disputes with China and Russia on Channel NewsAsia

Alan D. Romberg, distinguished fellow and director of Stimson's East Asia program, was recently interviewed by the Singapore-based news network Channel NewsAsia on the subject of Japan's territorial dispute with China and Russia. 

During the interview, Mr. Romberg discussed the latest development on the Senkaku/Diaoyu dispute in the wake of the recent radar lock-on incident and Japan's recent accusation of Russia's violation of Japanese airspace over the territorial waters of Rishiri Island. He also explained U.S.'s nuance position on the Senkaku/Diaoyu dispute and commented on the upcoming summit between President Obama and Prime Minister Abe.
